The CiDir, a corporate governance board leadership training program for the Tanzanian directors, provides a comprehensive curriculum on the boards role and function plus the directors duties and responsibility. It therefore serves to ensure that executive and non- executive director adhere to corporate governance best practices.

To be eligible to join the Institute of Directors in Tanzania, one needs to be a director/prospective director (commissioner/member of advisory board); Corporate Secretary; Senior Executive; Senior Management; Audit Partner/Manager; Current and prospective Governance Consultant
